TEEN INTERNSHIP
We are looking for teens
13-15 to become
Junior Guides In Training
-Junior Guides will attend all 5 days of their selected week
-Assist with all activities!
-Potential to work your way up to becoming a part of the team!

Rules and Guidelines
GROUP SIZE: MAX 10
We will continue to update our rules as the guidelines change!

Please do not show up until your start time. Due to COVID-19 we need to stagger when groups start. Please wait in the car if you arrive early!

Each kid will paddle their own equipment to ensure social distancing. Guides will be available to tow kids at all times.

Kids should come with a face covering, sunblock, and a filled water bottle.
-
Kids will not wear face coverings when on the water for safety reasons. They will remove their masks once safely on the water and put them back on as we approach the beach.

Priority registration will be given to essential workers to allow their children guaranteed spots in our program.

Hand sanitizing stations will be available at the beach for kids and staff to use.

Please complete your waiver online before arrival or your child will not be able to participate.

Internship
Skills are learned through a mix of instruction, demonstrations, games, and trips. Each day the tour will highlight a new topic, where kids will play and explore all day, learning important information in an active enviornment.
Topics include: paddle technique, water safety, wildlife, ecology, and conservation!
From our location, kids will be able to explore canals, search for shellfish, observe endangered bird life, and try out kayaks and paddleboards while perfecting their technique. At the end of a Kids Kayak Adventure tour your little paddler will likely to be showing YOU proper kayaking technique and safety!
