As one of the islands largest outdoor adventure companies, we know how important it is to protect the local environments that we visit every day. We take pride in making sure the people who paddle with us learn how to leave each environment they visit in better shape then when they found it.

We're going Paperless

Here at Island Spirit, we are officially going paperless for the planet! Our new digital smart waiver was incorporated into daily use, and we eliminated 1000's of paper waivers that were previously being used each year.

Nipsy the Great White

In 2019 we took on an exciting new project! We used beach garbage found on State Beach to construct a 20ft great white shark. Nipsy was in the 4th of July parade, and other events to encourage elimination of single use plastics and garbage on the beach and help protect the environment! Learn more about Nipsy and Nipsy 2.0 here!
