Most definitely the best feature of this house is the beautiful covered porch, overlooking the koi pond. Set up the projector for an outdoor movie night while you lean back in your chairs. The house is designed for quality family time, so in the center there is a large space designed as a game room with tons of games! We hope you can enjoy your vacation face to face with your friends and family. But don't get stuck in the house! Your hostess Chick, will be happy to set you up with free kayaks or paddle boards right on State Beach! Enjoy the island as you should, from the water!

"This apartment was perfect for our three day getaway. Chick knew it was our anniversary and greeted us with champagne and chocolate. The space included a complimentary kayak/paddle board rental from island spirit kayak. Chick also provided bikes to get around and plenty of local recommendations. We would definitely stay again!

Details
This home was built in the early 1970's by Chick's family. The kitchen and most areas have been updated, but it still has original charm, lot's of natural light and a lot of love.
Even though we are close to town this unique private space is surrounded by trees, hanging flower baskets and at a dead end road, making it feel quiet yet convenient. The large covered porch is the spot to be all year round! Right next to the porch is a beautiful koi pond, and this is the best spot to lean back and relax and watch the fish and frogs!
The kitchen is spacious, stocked and has a brand new dishwasher! There is a ton of natural light through the two skylights on the vaulted ceiling and the french doors. A special reading nook with hand carved teak panels is a special place to relax, stocked with games, cards, and books. In the main living space you will find a large dining room table that seats eight (can expand to seat 12) perfect for family dinners.
The master bedroom is set with a queen bed, comfy and fresh linens, and a full closet. The room has many windows that are filled with trees for privacy, but still allow natural light. The second bedroom has two twin beds, and is set up perfectly for kids to relax and play. This bedroom can also be used for 2 adults.
